In the late 1960s, the founder Kevin Ring set off on a Quest to explore the world in search of nutrient-rich ingredients. Upon his return, he opened the first Swisse store in Melbourne, Australia.

Swisse focus on the development and manufacture of scientifically-supported supplements and independently conducted scientific research. Swisse is committed to making a significant contribution to the evidence base of complementary medicine and nutraceutical research.
